Valve Cover Evacuation Kit

Remove Stock Breather and section of 3/8 metal tube that attatches to turbo compressor elbow.  Thread the supplied pipe plug into fitting on compressor housing, or directly into compressor housing.

Note: The pipe plug supplied may very. If it looks like the one in the picture to the right, fit it directly into the compressor housing elbow. If it has a recess in the top portion of the plug, it goes into the same port you will be removing the 3/8s metal hose from. They are different thread sizes, so it will be self evident. All kits built as of June 01 2004 will use the plug that goes into the stock fitting so as to retain the vacuum port.

Insert supplied elbow into valve cover. A little oil on the o-ring will help it slip into place if you have problems sliding it into the valve cover hole. Place external breather in a location that best suits your vehicle. In our example vehicle it is on the inner fender by the cold air intake hose. (right photo - highlighted)

Cut hose to length, and use the supplied hanger and sheet metal screw to mount and secure the hose, keeping it away from engine heat sources.
