| One last walk through the pits on
the way to the winners circle. The Zippo car of Paul Smith is pretty
torn up, but they were already working on it in prep for the next
race at the Motorsport International Raceway in Bowmanville,
Ontario. To tie up the story on the front page - shortly after the accident that took out the Zippo car, someone dumped fluid up near the S bends and it took out 8 of the top runners... the number 05 Multimatic car drivent by Gunner and Gue, now up in the top 5, was one of those taken out. Though no damage was done to the car, the spin and following pit they required sent the team all the way back to 51st place. |
